DUAL-USE VIDEO DISPLAY SYSTEM

A video display system, comprising a cabinet including a screen, a projector removably secured in the cabinet and adapted for front and rear projection of an image, a means for releasably locating said projector in the cabinet in a fixed relationship to said screen, means for consolidating detachable connections of signal and power to the projector and mirror means located in the cabinet for reflecting an image from the projector to the screen when the projector is used in the rear projection mode. The video display system has a projector which is easily and rapidly removable from the cabinet, is usable within the system in a rear projection mode and outside the system in a front projection mode. The projector is easily insertable and properly positionable within the system in a fixed position. The video display system is foldable and easily portable and shippable. The components are modular in construction.
