The electrical feed unit has two outer strips (6,8) with metallic track connections. The tracks connect to a central area (26) with active electro-optical display sections. A separate box (12) with wiring and an interface (10) to the flexible strip area provides the feed voltage. There are regular triangular protruding sections (42) placed along the outer strip.
