The closure body (3) co-operates with the top of the bottle neck and is axially movable in a holder body (8) which has evenly distributed tension claws (13) produced by longitudinal slots (14). The claws' free ends can be splayed out to increase the diameter, and pressed together by a hollow cylindrical tension ring (12) to reduce the diameter of the holder body. The end (19) of the holder body facing away from the closure body is closed by a lid (9) joined by a snap-on closure (20) to the holder body. A spring element (2) exerting pressure on the closure body may be contained in a compartment (7) in the holder body.
