The arrangement includes circuits placed at several points between the cabling and the metal vehicle body, to terminate the cables with at least approximately their characteristic high frequency (HF) impedances. Reactive terminating resistances are weighted with real impedances, for HF matching to the reactive impedances, so that the real resistance has essentially the same value as the characteristic impedance in the HF noise region. A cable section is enclosed by a conducting sleeve whose characteristic impedance is terminated, so as to be matched to the metal vehicle body. Ferrite chokes in the cable loom, or individual cables, have a higher HF resistance than the characteristic impedance. Ferrite components in common lines for several terminals transform the line impedance approximately to the characteristic HF impedance.
