PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive battery pack that is high in mechanical durability by coupling a pair of end plates with connectors to form frames, arranging batteries between the frames, and surrounding them with a sheet to form the battery pack. SOLUTION: A frame 6 comprises an upper side end plate 6a and a lower side end plate 6b, the upper side end plate 6a consisting of an upper end plate 6e, which is provided with a pair of window portions 6c, 6d, and two support pieces formed integrally with the upper end plate 5e. The lower side end plate 6b comprises a lower end plate 6h and two support pieces formed integrally with the lower end plate 6h. The support pieces of the upper and lower side end plates are welded and integrated together to surround batteries 1, 2. The exposed surfaces of the batteries, etc., are surrounded by a sheet 7, and they are fixed by an adhesive 7a applied to one side of the sheet 7, to thereby construct a battery pack. |
