FIELD: cleaning of carpenter's articles with surfaces, which have been formerly painted. SUBSTANCE: method involves dipping wooden objects for 15-20 min into cleaning liquid, such as hot oil, preferably linseed oil heated to 150-250 C; removing paint by applying slight mechanical force upon solving or stripping of paint. Method allows delicate and low-cost cleaning and primary finishing of carpenter's articles to be conducted. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of cleaned surfaces. 6 clo
