FIELD: thermal engineering; construction of chimney stacks. SUBSTANCE: holes are drilled in exit flue shell over its perimeter at 3-5 m pitch and heat insulating compound is introduced through them sequentially by means of compressed air feed rate up to 70 mps at the same time checking fill-up level; in absence of voids, holes are sealed with special material.
