FIELD: medical equipment for pinching of injured blood vessels with the aim of temporary hemostasia. SUBSTANCE: tourniquet has an elastic rubber band with projections in lateral direction on its both sides. Projections on one side of the band are shifted relative to projections on the other side by the width of the projection. Furors are made throughout the entire length of the elastic rubber band on its both sides at a distance of the projection width. The device for fastening the applied tourniquet represents a closed cord. The cord is passed through a hole in the band and its ends are connected by a locator. The hole is positioned on one end of the band at a distance from the edge equal to the band width. EFFECT: absence of skin pinching effect, reduced time of tourniquet application. 2 dwg
