PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an omnisystem mobile communication system which can increase transmission efficiency, make good use of frequencies, and shift to sector zone constitution without any new facilities even when traffic increases. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with N directional antennas which are installed at intervals of the same angle, N transmitter receivers which receive and send radio waves inputted from the respective directional antennas and correspond to respective sectors, and N digital signal processors 306 which digitally perform the demodulation, decoding, and error correction of receive data by the sectors or the modulation and encoding of transmit data. Carriers of the same frequency are sent out by the N antennas, serial input/output ports 307 are arranged nearby the N digital signal processors, and the N digital signal processors by the sectors are coupled on a handshake basis through the serial input/output ports to constitute a radio base station which appears to use one digital signal processor and one nondirectional antenna. |
