PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a transparent substrate formed with black matrices having high resolution and high light shieldability. SOLUTION: (1) The regions to be formed with the black matrices 6 on the transparent substrate 3 are first irradiated with laser beams 1, by which the irradiated parts are transpirated and grooves 4 are formed. (2) A light shieldable compsn. 5 dispersed with pigments 18 packed into the formed grooves 4. Thereafter, (3) the light shieldable compsn. 5 of the regions exclusive of the grooves 4 and the parts protruding from the transparent substrate 3 surface on the grooves 4 is removed. (4) The light shieldable compsn. 3 in the grooves 4 is then cured. |
