PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information sending method which can minimize the [sense of users even if a large quantity of data contained in each reply. SOLUTION: An information providing center receives a retrieval request from the vehicle side (S201) and accordingly retrieves a data base to obtain the retrieval result ($202). If the retrieval result includes a plurality data of types such as the characters, images, etc., the data groups are defined in every data type and the quantity of data is calculated in each data group (S205, S206). Then the data groups are arranged in order of smaller quantity of data, so that the data sending sequence is decided (S207). Furthermore, the data forming the data groups are arranged in order of smaller quantity, so that the data sending sequence is decided (S209). Thus, the data are sent to the vehicle side in these decided sending sequences (S210).
