PULL CHARGING DETECTION METHOD AND CHARGING CONTROLLER FOR SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full charging detection method and a charge controller by monitoring a charge current and a charging time during a constant voltage charging for secondary batteries, by eliminating error in charging time by detecting the full charging state from the amount of change of charging per hour during the relevant constant voltage charging, and enhancing the charging performance and shortening the charging time. SOLUTION: A calculating section (CAL) 12d calculates the change in current value per unit time [Bnow =(I1-I2)/(t2-t1)] from a detection current received from a current detection section (C-DET) 12b and also measuring time received from time counting section (TIM) 12c. The full charging detecting section (FC-DCT) 12e compares the change [Bnow] in the current value to the change in current value [Bstop] per unit time during full charging retained internally and judges whether the secondary batteries (BATT) 10 have become a full charging state.
