PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply form an oil passage to connect each cylinder to a different hydraulic source on a caliper body by forming the depth of a first cylinder located in the center to be smaller than the depth of a cylinder located on each side among three cylinders provided on the caliper body. SOLUTION: In a system where pistons 20-22 to press a brake pad 16 against a disk plate 18 are mounted in cylinders 13-15 formed on a caliper body 12, the first cylinder 14 located in the center is formed shallower than the second and third cylinders 13, 15 located on each side. The second and third cylinders 13, 15 are communicated with each other by a first straight oil passage 31. In forming the first oil passage a1 , the first oil passage a1 is difficult to interfere the first cylinder 14, and the first oil passage a1 is easily machined. A second oil passage a2 to be communicated with the third cylinder 15 and a third oil passage (b) to be communicated with the first cylinder 14 are cut in the caliper body 12.
|
