PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which an amorphous silicon photoreceptor is used as an image carrying body and a fur brush contact electrifying device is used as an electrifying means for a photoreceptor, and to obtain a higher durability of a fur brush electrifying member and to stably output an image with good image quality for a long time. SOLUTION: The image carrying body is a photoreceptor 101 consisting of a conductive base body and a light receiving layer. The light receiving layer consists of a photoconductive layer which shows a photoconductivity and consists of a non-single crystal material essentially comprising silicon atoms and containing hydrogen atoms and/or halogen atoms, and a charge injection preventing layer formed on the photoconductive layer. The whole current Ipf(μA) given by a fur brush electrifying member 102 to the photoreceptor 101 and the current Ipc(μA) applied by a corona electrifying device to obtain the same potential are in the relation of 0.8Ipc<Ipf<1.1Ipc.
