PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the longitudinal deformation gradient of a heating press plate by together deforming upper and lower press plates longitudinally. SOLUTION: When a gap width changes from (y) to (y+y1+y2) by a hydraulic press cylinder 26, the stress state of heating press plates 33, 34 is changed between press sections (b), (c), (d) on the basis of the mutual deformation of the heating press plates 33, 34 and a press stand is raised by about [0.5×(y1+y22)] in the sections (b), (d). By this constitution, the almost symmetric gap regulation between the lower and upper heating press plates 33, 34 is performed and the uniform reduced pressure of a compressed coating layer is generated at the end part of a vacuum section c1. In the same way, when compression is again performed at the start end part of a compression section c2, the coating layer is again compressed. By this method, a rough density profile can be physically and uniformly adjusted still more and the deformation quantity thereof becomes the sum total of [tanα+ tanβ] and a longitudinal deformation gradient can be regulated.
