PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable people who speak different languages to communicate with one another while rising above differences in language by making a meaning explanation using a picture and a meaning explanation using words identifical, and displaying the picture in common and the words in the respective languages when the people who speak the different languages communicate by making good use of a machine. SOLUTION: When Japanese is inputted and a writing selection button is selected on a main screen by video selection devices 1 and 2, a writing mode screen appears and a picture character explaining the meaning of the line is inputted. Then a main word input mode is entered and when, for example, a picture character 'I' is selected and inputted, it is displayed at the upper part of the screen. When the initial letter of the word is selected and inputted, for example, when '1' is selected and displayed, picture characters starting with the initial letter '1' are displayed; when 'look' is selected, it is displayed at the upper part on the screen. This input is repeated to input, for example, '1', "'look', 'you', and 'home page'. |
