INCOMING CALL TRANSFER METHOD FOR PACKET EXCHANGE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in-network traffic by allowing a packet exchange receiving a call request to use the connection end packet of the received exchange when a call transfer destination terminal equipment is busy so as to avoid a busy call transfer destination terminal equipment. SOLUTION: A packet exchange PS1 receiving a call request packet CR addresses to a call transfer destination terminal equipment PT 2 from a caller terminal equipment PT1 conducts routing, decides a communication path and sends the packet to relay line T1. A packet exchange PS2 receives it and when a call transfer destination terminal equipment PT2 is busy, since the packet is sent to a relay line T2 to be transferred to a call transfer destination terminal equipment PT3. A packet exchange PS3 received it and sends the packet to a PT2 which is not busy. The packet exchange PS2 receiving an incoming call reception packet CA sends a connection end packet CC to a relay line T3. The PS1 receiving it sends it to the PT1. Thus, a CC is in use and the busy transfer destination terminal equipment is avoided to reduce the in-network traffic.
