<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the control method for a memory system which improves the stability of operation at the time of insertion and extraction of a memory card. SOLUTION: When a memory card (storage medium) is inserted into a connector by using connector terminals connected sequentially to the terminals of the storage medium, the GND terminal and control terminal of the storage medium are connected to the corresponding terminals of the collector prior to connections of the power terminal and data input/output terminals of the storage medium with the corresponding terminals of the connector. Further, when the storage medium is extracted from the connector, the power terminal and data input/output terminals of the storage medium are disconnected from the corresponding terminals of the connector prior to the connections of the GND terminal and control terminals of the storage medium with the corresponding terminals of the connector. In the figure, (a) shows a 5V system and (b) shows a 3.5V system.</p> |
