<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the circuit and method for hue control over a monitor which easily generate a hue that a user desires on the screen of the monitor with a color gain signal corresponding to temperature. SOLUTION: The hue control circuit of the monitor is equipped with a memory 22 stored previously with a control program which finds a color temperature curve from information regarding color temperature, a data input part 10 which inputs a specific temperature signal, a control part 20 which generates and outputs a color gain signal and a color cutoff signal corresponding to the temperature signal according to the control program, and amplification stages 50, 60, and 70 which input the color gain signal and color cutoff signal and output video signals for adjusting the hue of the monitor screen. Consequently, the hue of the monitor screen can automatically be held optimum according to the temperature variation in the monitor circumference.</p> |
