摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coated polycarbonate film excellent in printability and adhesive strength between a film substrate and a cured coating film by coating a thermoplastic polycarbonate resin film with a radiation-curable acrylic coating compsn. followed by the irradiation with ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: A polyfunctional acrylate monomer, a photoinitiator, and 20-50wt.% 1, 6-hexanediol acrylate are compounded to give a radiation-curable acrylic coating compsn.10. A thermoplastic polycarbonate resin film 14 with a thickness of 0.5-30mil and wound around a core 16 is unwound with a casting drum 18, coated with the compsn. 10 dropping from an applicator 20, then caused to pass through between a nip roll 24 and the drum 18, and transported while being heated to 90-150 deg.F. The film is then exposed to ultraviolet rays with an average wavelength of at least 320nm radiated from an ultraviolet radiation means 32 to cure the compsn. 10. Thus is formed an acrylic resin layer with a thickness of 0. 05-5 pm on the surface of the film 14. The film is then caused to pass through idler rollers 40, 42, and 44 and wound up.
