PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the large capacity of a storage box by disposing parts protruding above the crank case of a unit swing type engine with an optimum layout without degrading functions or performance of the parts and decreasing height from the upper surface of the crank case. SOLUTION: In this scooter type vehicle, an axis A-A of the intake pipe 21 of a carburetor 22 is crossed at an acute angle to the center line B-B of the front and rear of a vehicle body when viewed from the top. The carburetor 22 is disposed so that the axis A-A may extend to rear wheel 2 side in roughly parallel to the upper surface of the crank case 13 when viewed from the side, an oil pump 25 is disposed just next to the crank case 13 introduction part of the intake pipe 21, and the height of the intake pipe 21 from the upper surface of the crank case 13 is set to be almost the same as the height of the oil pump 25. |
