PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the large storage box capacity of a scooter type vehicle, improve comfortableness by increasing the extending stroke of a reaction unit, and improve engine performance by lowering the height of a seat for good footing. SOLUTION: The bottom surface of a storage box is formed roughly- horizontally and so as to include a part arching upward at least at its rear part, and the pivot of a unit swing type engine 4 is disposed at the front part of a crank case 13. The introduction part B to the crank case 13 of an intake passage 21 connected to a carburetor 22 is formed in the vicinity of the center in a width direction of the unit swing type engine 4 and arranged so that the carburetor 22 and an air cleaner case 23 may approach the outside in the vehicle width direction sequentially rearward from the introduction part B and the carburetor 22 may be positioned in the vicinity of the lower part of a part arching upward at the rear part of the storage box bottom surface. |
