PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-point auto focus camera permitting to reduce a focusing time. SOLUTION: This device comprises plural sensors 212A-212C, integration control circuits 225A-225C which terminate integration of the sensors 212A-212C when the integrated values of each sensor 212A-212C reach a specified value by monitoring them, and a CPU which measures integral times of each sensor 212A-212C and forcibly terminates the integration of all the light receiving means that have not reached a specified integrated value when a maximum integral time has elapsed. In this case, when a shortest integral time in which either of each sensor 212A-212C has reached a specified integrated value is expressed as t1 and an integral time of the other two sensors 212A-212C which have not reached the integrated value yet is expressed as t, and when t/t1 becomes equal to a specified value or more before either of the integration of the sensors 212A-212C is completed, the above CPU forcibly terminates all the integral actions of the sensors 212A-212C not finishing with the integration yet. |
