PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the preferable process for producing a coloured image with reduced dot gain. SOLUTION: The coloured image is formed by laminating a light-sensitive material comprising a temporary support film (i) and a coloured light-sensitive layer and a heat-activable adhesive layer on an image-receiving material at elevated temperature under pressure and imagewise exposing the light-sensitive layer and developing it and, as desired, repeating these processes with another coloured light-sensitive material. The used image-receiving material has at least one light-sensitive vesicular layer capable of forming gas by photo- decomposition on a support material (ii).
