PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a composition for treating patients suffering from depression having low adverse effects. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical preparation comprises mirtazapine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor(SSRI) and a pharmaceutically permissible adjuvant. The SSRI is especially selected from fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, citalopram, cericlamine, femoxetine, sertraline, paroxetine, ifoxetine, cyanodothiepin and litoxetine. The composition used in order to treat patients suffering from depression has lower adverse effects than those in the case of treatment with the mirstazapine or the SSRI alone. |
