PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autofocusing camera capable of preventing trouble when manual focusing photographing is executed by displaying focus detecting information on the inside of a finder. SOLUTION: When a manual mode is selected by a focusing mode selecting means 63, the display on a display means 92 is automatically inhibited under the control of a picture display CPU 90 controlling the information display in terms of focus detection. When an autofocusing mode is selected, the means 92 displays a focus detection area, a selection point, focusing/non-focusing, and a focusing direction, etc., under the control of the CPU 90 inside the finder. |
