<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the high voltage inside a cathode ray tube after turning off of a main switch simply and surely without being affected by other circuits, in a television receiver. SOLUTION: An external circuit is made needless by the constitution where resistors 12, 15, and 18 of several M ohms are built in parallel with the rectifying diodes 11, 14, and 17 of the secondary high voltage winding 10 of a flyback transformer. Hereby, high voltage can be discharged without fail by the node of the cathode ray tube regardless of other circuit (for example, power circuit), so that spot remaining after turning off of the main switch can be reduced and the safety aspect can be improved.</p> |
