PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small safety switch with high precision in safety. SOLUTION: A safety switch is miniaturized with one plate cam 1 which is rotated with the entry of an actuator into an operation part 111 to move the operating rod 6 of a switch part. Locking plates 2, 3 are arranged at the side of the plate cam 1 to form a locking mechanism which restricts the rotation of the plate cam 1. Only when the actuator is entered therein, the plate cam 1 is unlocked from the locking plates 2, 3 and then rotated so that the operation part can be prevented from being actuated by others than the specified actuator.
