METHOD MEASURING VELOCITY OF STREAM AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION

FIELD: technological processes with measurement of velocity of stream and volumetric flow rate of various liquid and gas media in power engineering, chemical and gas industries, in aviation to measure velocity of flight of aircraft. SUBSTANCE: for generation of information on velocity in wide range with same accuracy there are proposed method and device in which velocity of flow of test stream tapped in parallel to main stream is controlled and its velocity is measured with zero pressure difference between outlet of this stream from main stream and its inlet back to main stream by which velocity of stream is estimated. Device for implementation of method has measurement duct connected to differential pressure tube, heater mechanically coupled to motor, null detector manufactured in the form of pressure difference transducer and placed in parallel to supercharger.
