PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isocyanate derivative resin which can give phase change ink (hot melt ink) having a yielding stress vs. temperature characteristics better than those of the conventional by selecting starting materials including an isocyanate, an alcohol and an amine according to the desired use. SOLUTION: This resin is a reaction product of at least one alcohol with an isocyanate and at least one amine. The alcohol is selected from the group consisting of monohydric alcohols such as aliphatic alcohols, aromatic alcohols, aliphatic alcohol derivatives and polyhydric alcohols such as aromatic alcohol derivatives and fused ring alcohols. The isocyanate is selected among monoisocyanates, diisocyanates, triisocyanates, etc. The amine is selected among aliphatic amines, aromatic amines, aliphatic/aromatic amines, fused-ring structure amines, polyfunctional amines, etc. |
