PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a sense amplifier operatable under a low voltage in which power consumption is small with high-speed operation by providing a latch type sense amplifier means, a reference voltage generating means by the charge distribution of capcitors and a switching means electrically separating the latch type sense amplifier means from the reference voltage generating means. SOLUTION: Bit lines B0...Bi and a latch sense amplifier part 100 are separated from a refenerence voltage generating part 300 by a switchigng part 200 as soon as the sensing of the latch sense amplifier part 100 is started to minimize switching widths of a signal S1 and a signal S2. Moreover, the output level of the refenerence voltage generating part 300 is determined by the ratio between capacitor transistors TR12, TR13 before the sensing of the latch sense pamplifier part 100 is started to enable a sensing even to the minute change of the signal S1. Thus, power consumption of the bit lines B0...Bi are minimized and the high-speed operation is made possible and the operation under the low voltage in which power consumption is small is made possible. |
