FIELD: nondestructive testing, check of geometric parameters and stressed state of pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: data from measuring height and plan marks equipment of distance covered, speed of motion, acceleration, coordinates of longitudinal axis and angles of inclination of pipe line and of characteristics of working medium - pressure and temperature are fed to register: delivered from measuring module are data on distance to wall of pipe and on sound velocity in working medium. Each measurement is performed at definite period of time and is recorded in memory; actual state of pipe line is estimated on this basis after repeated processing. To this end, device is provided with automatic control unit, height and plan marks measuring equipment which includes digital computer complex and two-degree-of-freedom gyro stabilizer with gyro and accelerometer located inside container and the following sensors mounted on the container outside along its generatrix: second path-control sensor, pressure and temperature sensors, motion speed sensors and sensors showing sound velocity in working medium. Power supply unit is connected via automatic control unit with height and plan marks measuring equipment connected in its turn with path-control and motion speed sensors, pressure and temperature sensors; it is also connected with measuring module is connected in its turn with ultrasonic converters and sensors showing sound velocity in working medium with register connected with plan and height marks measuring equipment and measuring module.
