PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single consumer equipment capable of taking out video and audio signals by both digital and analog formats from a different kind of medium storage device, displaying image on a conventional television screen, and/or outputting audio through a conventional audio speaker. SOLUTION: A television unit 110 is provided which is equipped with a television display 130, built-in personal computer (PC) 150, PC software, and a CD juke box 140 storing a video disk and an audio CD. An operator controls the television unit using an interface 120 equipped with a PC key board 124, TV remote control key pad 126, and a joystick control or a note pad 128. The user interface communicates with the television unit through a radio infrared link. |
