DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, DOCUMENT SHARING METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share the respective kinds of documents (word processor documents and table calculation data or the like) prepared by various application softwares and to easily perform content confirmation and re-utilization. SOLUTION: In a client terminal 13, an image file 23 corresponding to the output image of the document and a text file 22 for indicating only the part of the character information of the document are generated from the original file 24 of the document 20% to be shared and the original file 24, the image file 23 and the text file 22 are stored in a server 11 for the respective shared documents. The file form of the image file 23 and the file form of the text file 22 are respectively unified, the respective client terminals 13 are provided with a browser software for images and the browser software for texts and the desired document is displayed without activating the application software used for document preparation.
