PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent traffic accidents by limiting communication by a portable telephone set during driving. SOLUTION: A mobile detection section 80 detects it that an automobile is in driving based on an engine sound of the automobile. When a call signal is detected while the automobile is driven, the call signal is automatically replied and reception information (e.g. a message denoting a driving state) is read from a reception information memory 70 and sent to a caller. Moreover, a caller telephone number and speech information sent from the caller (e.g. 'Please make a phone call to such and such immediately!') are recorded in a reception memory 90. |
