摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a product having high magnetic flux density and excellent in iron loss characteristic by allowing compounds of specific elements to adhere to the surface of a steel sheet in the step after primary recrystallization annealing and before the application of a separation agent at annealing and then performing the decomposition treatment of the compounds. SOLUTION: A grain oriented silicon steel stock is hot-rolled, cold-rolled once or cold-rolled two or more times while process-annealed between cold rolling stages so as to be finished to final sheet thickness, and subjected to primary recrystallization annealing, and, after the application of a separation agent at annealing, the resultant steel sheet is subjected to final finish annealing. The grain oriented silicon steel sheet is manufactured by a method consisting of a seriese of stages mentioned above. In this manufacturing method, compounds of one or >=2 elements selected from the group No. 13 to 15 and the period 4 to 6 elements of a periodic table of elements are allowed to adhere to the surface of the steel sheet after the primary recrystallization annealing and before the application of a separation agent at annealing, followed by decomposition treatment of the compounds.
