PURPOSE:To improve the fuel consumption rate of an engine by switching the first selector valve to let the exhaust air of an engine flow into a double flow turbine or an axial flow turbine, and switching the second selector valve to let the intake air of the engine flow into an intake manifold from the first compressor or the second compressor. CONSTITUTION:The first turbo charger 11 has a double flow turbine 11a and the first compressor 11b, and the second turbo charger 12 connected in parallel to the first turbo charger 11 has an axial flow turbine 12a and the second compressor 12b. In the medium-low speed rotation range of an engine 12, a controller 28 switches the first selector valve 21 to let the exhaust air of the engine 13 flow into the double flow turbine 11a and switches the second selector valve 22 to let the intake air of the engine 13 flow into an intake manifold 18. In the high speed rotation range of the engine 13, the controller 28 switches the first selector valve 21 to let the exhaust air of the engine 13 flow into the axial flow turbine 12a and switches the second selector valve 22 to let the intake air of the engine 13 flow from the second compressor 12b into the intake manifold 18. |
