<p>PURPOSE:To provide the silence automatic skip reproducing device capable of surely making reproduction from the top of a sound section and preventing the reproduction of the silence section during fast feeding and rewinding. CONSTITUTION:This reproducing device has a reading out section 1 which reads out the record of a magnetic tape TP, a reproducing output section 2 which reproduces and outputs the record and a tape traveling control section 4 which controls the traveling speed and traveling direction of this magnetic tape TP. This tape traveling control section 4 is so controlled as to fast feed the magnetic tape TP by detecting the silence section of the tape. The device is provided with a silence/sound retrieval section 3 which controls the tape traveling control section 4 so as to rewind the tape by detecting a sound section at the time of fast feeding and controls the tape traveling control section so as to allow the tape to make normal traveling by detecting the silence section at the time of rewinding and a muting section 5 which mutes the reproducing output section 2 at the time of fast feeding and rewinding and to release the mute at the time of normal traveling.</p> |
