PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image reader in which reading is conducted as soon as an image is recorded without making a reader large in size. SOLUTION: A taking up shaft 41 is provided to a side opposite to a patrone P containing an electronic development recording medium M with respect to a lens barrel 11. A recording medium guide member 45 formed semi-cylindrically around a taking shaft 41 at a surrounding of the taking up shaft 41. The guide member 45 is made of a transparent plate. A guide bar 47 extended in parallel with the taking up shaft 45 is provided to an edge of the guide member 45 toward the lens barrel 11. A light source 21 is provided in opposition to an inner face of the guide member 45. A line sensor 22 is provided to a position corresponding to the light source 21. |
