PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a room unit of an air conditioner with limited feed air noise which can obtain a required air conditioning force with a smaller size. SOLUTION: In a once-through blower having an impeller 2 in a box body 1, suction ports 3 and 4 are provided on the upstream side of the impeller 2 and a blowoff port 5 on the downstream side. A front heat exchanger 13 formed in a groove by three parts ... a vertical part 14, an upper inclined part 15 on the upper side and a lower inclined part 16 on the lower side is arranged between the suction ports 3 and 4 and the impeller 2. Room air is sucked via the front heat exchanger 13. With such an arrangement, a wider clearance is allowed between the impeller 2 and the inside of the front heat exchanger 13 to reduce noises with an increase in the air velocity by the operation of the once-through blower. This realizes a required air conditioning capacity by a specified blowing quantity of air based on a quiet operation. |
