PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a room unit for an air conditioner which quietly operates by effectively restoring a dynamic pressure of an intake air to a static pressure to obtain a specified blowing performance. SOLUTION: The rear of a blowoff air path 3 is formed by a rear plate 4 on the downstream side of an impeller 2. A first blowoff surface 9 inclined in such a direction that the blowoff rim part side of the blowoff air path 3 separates from a reference surface 10 is arranged biased to the impeller 2, a second blowoff surface 11 inclined in such a direction that the blowoff rim part side of the blowoff air path 3 separates from the reference surface 10 is arranged next to the first blowoff surface 9 and the front of the blowoff air path 3 is formed by a front plate 5 in which a third blowoff surface 12 inclined by 20 deg.-30 deg. in such a direction that the blowoff rim part side of the blowoff air path 3 separates from the reference surface 10 is arranged next to the second blowoff surface 11. Thus, a blowoff current blows off without being peeled from the front plate 5 to generate an effective blowing by a stable current thereby enabling quiet operation while a specified diffusive blowing action is obtained.
