PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify input of a merchandise code and save manpower by reading a corresponding merchandise code when past transaction exists, displaying the name of the merchandise by a merchandise master and automatically updating a record file whenever the transaction is performed. SOLUTION: The record file of a customer and the merchandise is issued and an abbreviation for retrieval is registered. Specifically, the record file of the customer and the merchandise (abbreviation) is referred to, existence of the past transaction is checked and when the past transaction exists, the corresponding merchandise code is read out and the name of the merchandise is displayed by the merchandise master by inputting the abbreviation. Furthermore, the record file is automatically issued whenever the transaction is performed. Specifically, the code (20) for the name of the merchandise can be referred to and the merchandise code is efficiently inputted by inputting only the abbreviation of the merchandise (10) by the operator. Therefore, addition of the merchandise code, check of the manufacturer of the merchandise and also confirmation to a salesman are unnecessary for the operator. |
