The method includes fabrication of a tool (10) which is a punch with a body terminated with a hemispheric head (12). The tool is then used to generate a number of indentations (14) on the surface (16) of a copper slab (18). A whole array of indentations can thus be obtained using a digitally controlled machine tool (20). A glass slab (22) is fixed on the copper surface using a glue (24) submitted to UV rays (26). The copper slab is then eliminated by an electrochemical reaction. The glass slab is then cleaned to obtained a microlens array (30). |
