The invention concerns a built-in element for heat exchangers, said element consisting of a plurality of interconnected flat grid-like bodies (1, 1'). A liquid and a gaseous medium can flow through the built-in element. Each body (1, 1') has a generally rectangular contour and comprises at two opposite edges at least one continuous edge strip (2, 2'). The edge strips (2, 2') are connected by a plurality of dripping webs (3). At least every second body (1, 1') in the built-in element comprises continuous undulations or folds (4) running transversely or obliquely to its edge strips (2, 2'). The bodies (1, 1') are mutually connected at touching regions (41) at least in the edge strips (2, 2') to the built-in element. |
