PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wear the identification card at low cost by forming an area where data and visual information read by an optical means, etc., are recorded and a cut which passes a looped cord body and has its end at a side edge. SOLUTION: The card 1 is a rectangle almost as large as, for example, a telephone card and is provided with a field 2 where visual information on a name and a company name are printed and a field 3 where data of a bar code, etc., read by an optical reader are printed on its surface. Further, cuts 4 are formed obliquely upward from upper parts of both the side edges of the card 1 and the ends of the cuts are formed in shapes connecting one-end sides of two semicircles. When the card 1 is used, the long circle parts 5 of the cuts 4 are bent to bore holes at the parts, and the looped cord having both its ends connected is passed through a gap formed by sliding the cut part along the thickness. This cord is hung on the neck to suspend the identification card, and then the need to put the card in and out is eliminated and the card is prevented from being lost. |
