PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stabilized characteristics of a cell by preventing condensation and dewing of moisture in reaction gas at an inlet of a gas passing groove of a separator placed outside of an electrode. SOLUTION: In this fuel cell, a gas passing groove 6 is provided in an electrode side, and a single cell is constituted using a separator 5A equipped with a cooling water passing groove 7 on an opposite side and reaction gas is intruded from a gas inlet 11 to a gas inlet side manifold 12, passed several gas passing groves 6, then discharged from a gas outlet 14 through a gas outlet side manifold 13. In this case, a heated water passion groove 25 is made on the end of an opposite side of the gas inlet side manifold 12 on the side with the cooling water passing groove 7 of the separator 5A, to absorb reaction heat at the cooling water passing groove 7, to pass heated cooling water through a connecting pipe 23, and to raise the temperature of the gas inlet side manifold 12. |
