DIFFRACTION GRATING, ITS MANUFACTURE, AND LIGHT PICKUP ELEMENT USING THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture efficiently a diffraction grating with deeply recessed and projecting grid configuration useful for liquid crystal hologram. SOLUTION: A first mold-releasing polymerized-compound such as a silicone rubber is applied and polymerized to a die having desired recessed and projecting part 1 to obtain a first rubber-light polymer 4. Then a second polymerized- compound which provides a polymer having higher elastic coefficient than the first polymer after polymerization including photo polymerization is applied and polymerized to the first rubber-like polymer 4 to obtain second polymer 5 whose recessed and projecting configuration 6, 7 is the same as the desired part 1 using the first polimer as a die.
