The case consists of a conventional CD case (2) which is modified by having a small hole (3) drilled through the centre of the tray (2a). A hemispherical RF detectable block (4) is attached by pressing a pin (5,6) through the central hole (8) of the CD, through the case and into the block. The head (6) of the pin has a larger diameter than the hole (8) in the CD, thus preventing its removal from the case. The pin is removed by the shop assistant, using a standard device, after the purchaser has paid for it.
