<p>A sewing machine (1) has, esp. for feeding a ribbon from underneath, an attachment (2) which is fastened to, but releasable from, the machine. Pref. the attachment can be swivelled around a vertical, horizontal or tilted axis (8). or it can be moved w.r.t. the machine on a slide guideway running in a horizontal, perpendicular or tilted direction. In another variation the attachment is fixed to the machine by releasable quick-lock fasteners and in yet another it is attached to the machine by a kind of double-jointed hinge. It can be held on the machine in an interchangeable cassette by means of quick-lock fasteners.</p> |
