PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a communication protocol for reducing the power consumption of an interrogator without damaging handleability by detecting that the voltage value of a DC power source reaches a first voltage value and a second voltage value determined beforehand, and outputting it to a control circuit. SOLUTION: When the voltage value outputted from a power source circuit 28 reaches the first voltage value determined beforehand, a non-contact data carrier 20 is preset to a command standby state and is turned to to in a state capable of receiving a command from the interrogator 10. When the voltage value of the power source circuit 28 is higher than the second voltage value, the non-contact data carrier 20 receives the command from the interrogator 10, and in the case that the command is a reset command, processes the reset command, then transmits answer-to-reset signals and returns to the command standby state. On the other hand, in the case that the command is other than the reset command, after key collation is performed, a command processing is executed, a response is transmitted and then, the command standby state is attained. |
